How to Store/Shelf Life

Our handcrafted products are all-natural with no added preservatives or foreign chemicals. As a result, the average shelf-life for our products may seem shorter compared to other brands, however, these storage recommendations are intended to help you get the most out of our products.

 

Tea Blends

 

How to Store:

Herbal teas are best stored in a cool, dark place and are best kept in a cabinet or pantry with limited exposure to bright light. Consider storing your herbal teas in air-tight glass containers to maximize freshness and preserve shelf-life.

Shelf Life:

The shelf life for each tea blends is one (1) year.

 

Tinctures

 

How to Store:

Alcohol based Tinctures are best stored in a cool, dark place and are best kept in a cabinet or pantry with limited exposure to bright light.

Glycerine based Tinctures, are best stored in the refrigerator to prolong the shelf life since the preservative properties are not as strong as our Alcohol based Tinctures.

Shelf Life:

The shelf life for each alcohol based tincture is five (5) years.

The shelf life for each glycerine based tincture is one (1) year when stored in the fridge.

 

Lip Balms

 

How to Store:

Lip balms are best stored in a cool, dark place. Storing lip balms in the fridge can help to prolong the shelf-life for at least a few months longer.

Shelf Life:

The shelf life for each lip balm is one (1) year.

Body Oils

 

How to Store:

Herbal body oils are best stored in a cool, dark place and are best kept in a cabinet or pantry with limited exposure to bright light.

Shelf Life:

The shelf life for each body oil is one (1) year.

 

Salves

 

How to Store:

Herbal salves are best stored in a cool, dark place. Storing salves in the fridge can help to prolong the shelf-life for at least a few months longer.

The shelf life for each salve is one (1) year.
